Manchester United look set for a busy January on the outgoing side of things.

With Ruben Amorim’s admission that funds are limited this January, it was accepted that sales were always likely to fund any incomings.

Over the past week, this has begun to transpire with several Manchester United players seeing their names linked with exiting Old Trafford.

Three unwanted players are tipped for a January exit, including Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof.

Marcus Rashford is expected to leave following his bombshell interview. While United will also consider offers for Alejandro Garnacho.

Tyrell Malacia is also a loan target for Juventus – with the Serie A side also keen to acquire summer addition Joshua Zirkzee.

Joshua Zirkzee says yes to Juventus

Zirkzee’s time at United has been described by Ally McCoist on TNT Sports as being a ‘disaster’ and now he is seeking to cut his time at the club short.

Zirkzee was hooked against Newcastle for a poor performance which seems to have accelerated talk of his departure.

Now, it is reported by Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, which claims that Zirkzee and his agent Kia Joorabchian have given the green light to a move back to Serie A.

Juventus are pushing to sign the Dutchman with a loan move being considered – both a straight loan and also with an option to buy.

Additionally, the report claims that Zirkzee is eager to depart the Premier League – thus ending a six-month stay in England.

Manchester United already lining up a striker replacement

So with Zirkzee looking to already have one foot out the door, it makes sense that United have been considering alternatives over the past few days with plenty of rumours emerging.

Viktor Gyokeres looks to be the number one choice of United and Amorim. With the Swede keen on reuniting with Amorim.

Another option is Victor Osimhen who is subject to a possible swap deal with Rashford going to other way.

An additional forward being considered is Samu Aghehowa, who has been compared to Gyokeres after United scouts watched his performance.

All three are superior goal scorers to Zirkzee – while there is also the wildcard of promoting Chido Obi from the academy, a player who has the potential to be even better.
