Ruben Amorim should not overlook the major call that he could make around two Manchester United players for the Premier League match against Bournemouth.
Manchester United’s next Premier League outing is away from home and Bournemouth will welcome the Red Devils to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim’s men languish in 14th place in the Premier League table and the Red Devils only have five Premier League matches remaining in their 2024-25 campaign.
The Red Devils have only managed 10 wins in 33 Premier League matches and United are now set for their worst finish in the table since the league’s formation.
Amorim’s side were in action on Sunday afternoon and the Red Devils suffered their 15th league defeat of the season after Wolves’ 1-0 win over United at Old Trafford.
Pablo Sarabia was the difference-maker on the day and the Wolves star struck a superb strike from his free-kick past Andre Onana and into the top corner of the net.
United fell behind to Wolves in the second half after Pablo Sarabia’s opener and Amorim’s men were unable to climb back into the contest at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have won one of their last five Premier League matches and United are level on points with 13th-place Everton and 15th-place Wolves.

Ruben Amorim should start Tyler Fredricson and Harry Amass again for Man Utd vs Bournemouth after Wolves match
Ruben Amorim used the full extent of his Manchester United first-team squad for the 1-0 defeat to Wolves on the weekend after he rotated his options.
United sealed a 5-4 comeback win against Lyon in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals last Thursday ahead of the Red Devils hosting Wolves.
Amorim opted to rest and drop some of his players to the bench for Sunday’s 1-0 loss after United and Lyon settled their Europa League tie after 120 minutes.
Tyler Fredricson made his first-team Red Devils debut under United manager Amorim on Sunday and the youngster played the full 90 minutes at Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old defender came through the United youth academy and the solid performance of Tyler Fredricson caught the eye of United fans on the day.
While Fredricson impressed in Amorim’s United tactical system, the defeat to Wolves also saw another major positive for the Red Devils with Harry Amass’ performance.
Harry Amass has been getting exposure to United first-team action in the 2024-25 campaign and the left-back has made a name for himself at youth level.
The 18-year-old Red Devils defender, much like Fredricson, played the full 90 minutes against Wolves and Amass made a lasting impression on United fans.
United’s season ultimately hinges on their success in the Europa League now and the Red Devils’ Premier League campaign can now be seen as an afterthought.
The Red Devils resume their Europa League campaign next Thursday in the semi-finals and Amorim should provide Fredricson and Amass with more minutes.
Both Fredricson and Amass will continue to receive much-needed exposure to first-team football and Amorim could avoid any further injuries ahead of the semi-finals.
Ruben Amorim told Man Utd fans what he thinks of Tyler Fredricson and Harry Amass after the Premier League defeat to Wolves
Speaking after United’s 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford, Amorim was asked about the performances of Tyler Fredricson and Harry Amass against Wolves on Sunday.
“That I don’t know [claiming a place in the squad for next season],” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“The season is not over. What I felt today is they deserved a better memory on their first games.
“Tyler played really well, also [Harry] Amass played really well, and they deserved better because we were the better team, played well, created chances.
“But in the end, again, one opportunity for the opponent, they score and the memories are not the best for these kids, but they played quite well.”
Bournemouth and United’s upcoming Premier League clash is slated for a 2pm kick-off time in the UK at the Vitality Stadium on 27th April.
The Red Devils will then travel to Spain on 1st May for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final encounter with Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames Stadium.
