Ruben Amorim was axed as United head coach on Monday morning after the Red Devils’ 1-1 Premier League draw against Leeds United at Elland Road last Sunday.
Ahead of his exit from Old Trafford, former Red Devils boss Amorim was deeply critical of the Ineos-led United regime in his post-match press conference.

Fletcher has been linked with United’s interim head coach hunt as well, but Roy Keane ruled out the idea of the Red Devils keeping him in the caretaker role for the long term.
“Do I think Fletch is the man to do it? Absolutely not,” he said on Sky Sports.
“But he’s stepping in to do it for a few weeks and a few months. He’ll probably win a few games.”

Fletcher already has an important role to play at the Red Devils behind the scenes with the youth academy and the Manchester United Under-18s this season.
The ex-United and Scotland midfielder’s elevation to the senior squad has also seen Manchester United Under-21s coach Travis Binnion added to his backroom staff.
