According to a report from the Daily Record, Manchester United are eyeing up a move for Moises Caicedo.
United were said to be planning to hold talks today for the teenager, who plays for Independiente del Valle.
So what can we tell you about Caicedo and what he could bring to United?
1) Caicedo is 19-years-old and is a senior Ecuador international already, with four caps and one goal, plus three assists.
2) Caicedo made his professional debut as a 17-year-old in Ecuador’s top flight.

3) He made his Copa Libertadores earlier this year. Caicedo has scored two goals and provided one assist in six matches in the competition.
4) Caicedo is a central midfielder, but grew up idolising former United captain and countryman Antonio Valencia, Goal.com report.
5) He is under contract at Independient del Valle until 2024.
6) Caicedo comes from a big family. He has 10 siblings and 25 nephews, Marca report.
What they say…
Manager Santiago Morales admits keeping hold of Caicedo could be near impossible.
He was quoted by El Comercio: “There is a lot of interest from European teams, we are in conversation with a team, surely we will not have him for 2021.”
Coach Miguel Angel Ramirez told Marca: “Moisés understands the game… He knows what the game demands at all times.”
What he says…
Caicedo would jump at the chance to move to Old Trafford, as he revealed in an interview earlier this year.
He told El Canal del Futbol: “My dream is to play for Manchester United.”
He was quoted by The Star: “I really like the games of N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, I learn a lot from them every time I see them. I always try to do what they do.”

Would a move be smart?
At the price of just £5 million being discussed by the Daily Record, this is the type of deal which makes perfect sense.
It would be a low-cost gamble, less than the fee paid to Monaco for Hannibal Mejbri. Even if the fee reached £10 million or £15 million, it would still be a small price by today’s standards.
United are looking out for a young defensive midfielder, and Caicedo fits the mould and has attacking qualities including long range shooting to his game.
With Nemanja Matic ageing yet still under contract, Caicedo could come in and learn from the Serbian.
The Manchester Evening News also report the club are keen on a move in January and are optimistic of a work permit.
