Eagle-eyed Manchester United fans caught the ‘true’ reaction of Ruben Amorim during one major incident in the Premier League clash against West Ham on Sunday.
The Red Devils suffered their 17th Premier League defeat of the 2024-25 season after West Ham comfortably beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford.
Tomas Soucek broke the deadlock and fired West Ham into the lead over United, with Graham Potter’s men heading into half-time with a 1-0 scoreline on the board.
Jarrod Bowen ensured that the Hammers sealed all three Premier League points on their visit to Old Trafford after putting West Ham 2-0 up in the second half.
Ruben Amorim’s side were unable to rally back in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat and United extended their winless run in their abysmal Premier League campaign.
United have lost four of their last five Premier League matches and the Red Devils are 16th in the table with only two league fixtures remaining this season.
West Ham climbed above both 16th-place United and 17th-place Tottenham in the Premier League table after the Hammers’ victory at Old Trafford on the weekend.

Ruben Amorim’s reaction in the Old Trafford dugout after Leny Yoro’s injury vs West Ham in Man Utd’s 2-0 loss
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim was dealt a blow on Sunday after Leny Yoro picked up an injury and was subbed off the pitch in the defeat to West Ham.
Leny Yoro started in the three-man backline of Amorim’s tactical system for United and the 19-year-old French centre-back has become a key United first-team player.
However, the United defender went down holding his foot and the medical team from Amorim’s United coaching staff took to the pitch to attend to Yoro’s injury.
Yoro’s injury forced him off the pitch in the West Ham match and Red Devils boss Amorim brought on Harry Maguire in his place in the 52nd minute at Old Trafford.
TikTok account SidesOnSport shared footage on social media of Amorim in the Old Trafford dugout and the United manager could not hold back his true feelings.
During the clip, the 40-year-old ex-Sporting CP boss could be seen slamming his hand down on the wall before he headed down his United technical area amid Yoro’s injury.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Amorim admitted that Leny Yoro “felt something” when he went down with his injury in United’s Premier League defeat.
“We have to assess Leny in a better way tomorrow [Monday],” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“He felt something, but I think it could be a small thing.”
When touching on Yoro in a Sky Sports interview, Amorim added: “He had that problem at the beginning of the season.
“We hope it’s not too serious. I don’t want to say too much, but maybe it’s not a big deal.”
United will now play their penultimate Premier League match of the 2024-25 season on Friday, with Chelsea hosting the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge.
