Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Victor Lindelof is still battling an injury heading into this weekend’s fixture.

Lindelof missed the Istanbul Basaksehir game with a back injury, but was still flown out to Turkey and back.

Solskjaer told the club website that Lindelof will face a late fitness test for the away clash with Everton.

Solskjaer said: “Victor has still got the issue that he’s been struggling with. He’ll have to be checked tonight in the hotel.”

One boost is that Alex Telles has been passed fit, with Solskjaer adding: “Alex has started training with us, which is good.”

It is questionable whether Solskjaer would throw the Brazilian straight in after a fortnight out. Telles will likely be on the bench at best.

United have lost the last two games in all competitions heading into this game.

Everton are without a win in three games themselves, losing their last two league games.

Hopefully Lindelof is available to feature and is passed fit to renew his partnership with Harry Maguire.

In the last three games in all competitions when they have played together, the only goal they have conceded came from the penalty spot.
