A key detail has emerged from Bryan Mbeumo’s first-ever training session at Manchester United under Ruben Amorim after his summer move to Old Trafford.
Bryan Mbeumo was a top Manchester United target this summer alongside fellow Red Devils signing Matheus Cunha, who arrived at Old Trafford from Wolves in June.
The Red Devils had two bids rejected for the 25-year-old Cameroon international in June before United’s third bid for Mbeumo was accepted by Brentford this month.
United confirmed the signing of Mbeumo on Monday and the French-born winger committed himself to a five-year deal with the Premier League club earlier this week.

Ruben Amorim and his men had travelled to Sweden and United faced Leeds United in their opening match of the summer in the pre-season campaign last Saturday.
Following United and Leeds’ friendly match at the Strawberry Arena in Solna, the Red Devils will now resume their pre-season tour in the United States this week.

Manchester United’s official website revealed details from Mbeumo’s training session, including the summer signing having chats with Amorim’s United coaching staff.
Adam Marshall shared a key detail from his editorial piece for the Red Devils, with Amorim providing “specific instructions” to Mbeumo during the training session.
“There were chats with the coaching staff and Ruben was issuing specific instructions to Mbeumo, when he took up his position in some tactical work, leading to his first shots as a United player,” he wrote.
