Manchester United will be delighted to have Bryan Mbeumo at the club finally after months of negotiations.
It took over six weeks for Manchester United to complete the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, with the London-based side consistently changing the goalposts.
After weeks of delay, United caved in and paid £65m up front to sign Mbeumo, with add-ons bringing the fee to £71m, which is beyond the demands that the Bees had been rumoured to have.
The transfer fee will be paid over the course of four years, making this summer’s outlay just £16.25m, which leaves funds available for United to make another signing this summer.
Mbeumo was unveiled by United on Monday, pictures with a big smile on his face to finally secure his dream move to Old Trafford, looking right at home.
Speaking after completing the move, Mbeumo outlined his excitement to play alongside Matheus Cunha, with the pair set to form a devastating partnership.

Mbeumo and Cunha could be the envy of the Premier League and are undeniably two of the best forwards in the entire league. This weekend will be our first chance to see the two in action together in the United States against West Ham.
Training will be the foundations of their on field partnership, with Mbeumo pictured in a United session on Tuesday, and now it has been revealed the impression he made during this session.
The official United website published an ‘inside training’ article centered around Mbeumo’s first session for the club with Mbeumo’s new teammates immediately including the Cameroon international in on ‘regular banter’.
In addition, the players involved in a rondo drill with Mbeumo were impressed by some of his nimble footwork which he showed on the ball in tight spaces.
Mbeumo could be seen with a big smile on his face, having wowed his teammates and clearly enjoying himself.

While both are superb attackers, Cunha and Mbeumo are very different in terms of their qualities.
Mbeumo is very much substance over style, being extremely effective without being too flashy, while Cunha is as much style as he is substance.
However, while not being overly silky, Mbeumo still has incredible technique which he possesses in a similar manner to Eden Hazard with powerful running and a low centre of gravity.
Mbeumo will be a game changer for United’s attacking plans and his unsung technical quality will see him perfectly suit linking up with Amad, Joshua Zirkzee, Bruno Fernandes and Cunha to name a few.
