Cristiano Ronaldo really could not wait to get out of Juventus.
Before he has even completed his Manchester United medical, he has posted a goodbye message to the Italian club.
Ronaldo says he ‘gave his heart’ to Juventus during his three seasons at the club.
Reunited
Ronaldo is returning to Manchester United, the club he left in 2009.
United confirmed the transfer on Friday afternoon, pending a medical.
The scenery of Old Trafford is not the only familar face, nor is manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who he played alongside.
Ronaldo will be reunited with Real Madrid teammate Raphael Varane at United. The pair won four Champions Leagues together at Real.
Varane posted a simple message welcoming Ronaldo to the club.
Ronaldo had recently reacted to Varane’s unveiling as a United player on the pitch at Old Trafford a fortnight ago, lauding the occasion.
Now they will get to play alongside each other once again, and do battle in training each day.
United have added some serious talent to the squad this summer, and signing two multiple Champions League winners will have a huge impact on the rest of the squad.
