Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been voted as one of the top 10 managers in Europe in 2020/21.
UEFA revealed the shortlist on their website, with the winner set to be unveiled at the Champions League draw next week.
Solskjaer won’t win the award as he has not made the top three, which consists of Thomas Tuchel, Roberto Mancini, and Pep Guardiola.
Club and international bosses are eligible, as seen with Mancini’s inclusion after leading Italy to Euro 2020 glory.
Manchester United boss Solskjaer was voted into ninth place in the standings.

Voted by fellow coaches
The award was voted for by all 24 international managers at Euro 2020, and all 80 managers who led teams in the Champions League and Europa League stages.
A further 55 journalists across UEFA member nations also had a casting vote.
Solskjaer may not care too much about individual recognition, but he will surely appreciate the backing from his fellow managers that have voted him into the top 10, amid such high competition.
A trophy changes everything
Solskjaer was voted into ninth place, and it would have likely been a lot higher had the penalty shootout in Gdansk gone Manchester United’s way – or he had figured out how to beat Villarreal before spot-kicks.
Villarreal boss Unai Emery was voted into fourth place, while Diego Simeone, Christoph Galtier and Antonio Conte, who each won titles with Atletico Madrid, Lille, and Inter Milan were all voted ahead of Solskjaer.
England boss Gareth Southgate was also named in the top 10, having likewise come so close to winning the Euros.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel could top his remarkable turnaround by winning the award, having been fired by PSG in December and then leading his new club to the Champions League title in May.
Solskjaer knows he has to win silverware to and he is focused on making sure 2021/22 is the year. If he delivers, then the awards will follow.
