Manchester United are all set and ready to go ahead of Wednesday’s Europa League final.
United take on Villarreal in Gdansk, aiming to win the trophy for a second time.
The team arrived in Poland on Monday and after a day getting acclimatised to the surroundings, the players are ready to go.
Assistant boss Mike Phelan, who has been joined by former manager Sir Alex Ferguson on the trip, sent a short message to underline that his side are ready for kick off.
Pogba sent a message celebrating United being in Poland for the final.
As a scorer in United’s 2017 victory against Ajax, Pogba seems determined to enjoy it and experience lifting the trophy once again.
Bruno Fernandes also had a short message to share, showing he is confident the team can win if they can keep clear heads.
This is United’s eighth European final. The Red Devils have won five of seven to date.
Pogba is playing in his second for United, while Phelan even played in the 1991 European Cup Winners’ Cup final.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in charge, who won the Champions League in 1999, and then manager Sir Alex Ferguson also in Gdansk for the trip, United’s set up is packed with experience to help the current players add to the history books.
Villarreal are underdogs, and not ones United should underestimate, but it will be a major disappointment if Solskjaer’s men are not celebrating lifting silverware on Wednesday night.
