Mason Greenwood’s breakthrough season at Manchester United has looked easy at times for the teenager.
He’s such a natural finisher that he has taken to life in the senior team with aplomb.
But Greenwood told United Review about his toughest game in a red shirt during a campaign in which he has already caught the eye.

Tottenham his toughest test
He said: “It makes you feel good knowing you’ve actually played against Tottenham in a Premier League game, and started. It helps your belief.
“Tottenham was probably my hardest game so far. I found myself in pockets though and was getting on the ball in space and turning and running and passing.
“It was a bit of both and it was hard sometimes but, at other times, it was okay. We were working hard for each other and got the win. We deserved it as well.”
That was Greenwood’s only league start of the season but his rampant form means that more should be to come, especially with the hectic festive period coming and United’s squad not being all that deep.

Greenwood granted more freedom
Last season and at the start of this one, Greenwood was not giving any interviews, with the club clearly preferring him to take a low profile.
But as the goals have carried on flowing, Greenwood has been granted the freedom to show his maturity in the media.
The teenager has natural ability and a grounded attitude; the perfect blend from a United perspective in terms of having another start of the future on their hands.
