Roma defender Wesley suffered an injury, and Carlo Ancelotti has selected Ederson as his replacement.
Ederson is now jetting in to the US to join up with the Brazil squad in New Jersey.
The midfielder is in the process of finalising his transfer from Atalanta to Manchester United.

Ederson’s message
Ederson sent a message on Instagram before boarding his plane to America.
Ederson’s message reached out to Roma full-back Wesley, showing compassion for his countryman.
He wrote: “God’s plan is always greater than mine. Honored to be a part of the greatest National Team in the world.
“Wesley we will always be with you ! Let’s all come together.”
Ederson had not expected to be called up. He was in Brazil to attend a former teammate’s wedding when he got the call.
He was preparing to soon jet to the UK to complete his transfer to Manchester United.
A fee of £35 million has been agreed between the clubs, but there is no formal announcement of the deal just yet.
United fans will have to wait a little longer for the move to be sealed – but we could get a glimpse of him in action at the tournament.
