Manchester United supporters finally were treated to the images we were waiting to see all summer. Jadon Sancho training at Carrington.
But more than any fan, there was one man happier than anybody else to see Sancho get onto the training pitches. That person was United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer look delighted to see Sancho at Carrington and even more so than the pictures above, the video below shows the United manager’s beaming reaction as he greeted the winger.
Sancho is United’s big summer signing and he is expected to have a major impact for Solskjaer’s side over the years ahead.
Solskjaer’s man management skills are highly regarded and he will likely be able to help Sancho reach his potential at Old Trafford.
After a tough ending to the Euros with England, Solskjaer is also the perfect manager to look out for Sancho and make sure he is not put under too much pressure.
Manchester United supporters were thrilled to see Sancho at Carrington, and even happier to see the effect he had on Solskjaer.
Worth the long wait
Solskjaer hoped to land Sancho last summer and did not get him, and his patience has finally paid off.
Sancho is under a long-term contract with United now and he is committed to making his time at Old Trafford a big success.
The young winger will no doubt be making Manchester United fans smile and beam like Solskjaer in the weeks, months, and years to come.
Sancho appeared to train individually in the session, and he will get the chance to link up with his teammates later in the week.
He will be in the squad against Leeds at Old Trafford on Saturday, and will be hoping to win a place in the starting line-up.
