Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho superbly navigated an awkward interaction with one fan outside of the club’s Carrington complex and had the perfect response.
Sancho hasn’t played for United since August and the 23-year-old is currently excluded from the first team after his falling out with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag.
The United winger was left out of the Red Devils’ squad for the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal last September and Ten Hag openly criticised Sancho’s performances in training.
Sancho hit back at Ten Hag with a bombshell statement on social media and has since reportedly refused to apologise to the United manager for his remarks.
The ex-England international’s long-term future remains uncertain at Old Trafford and Sancho has attracted interest from abroad amid the January window opening.
Sancho’s former club Borussia Dortmund have been heavily linked with the United outcast and they are reportedly close to bringing him back to Germany on loan.
The former Three Lions star was also linked with Juventus, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has explained why the Serie A side ended their interest in Sancho.

Sancho’s interaction with United fan
United’s statement last September confirmed that Sancho was on a “personal training programme” due to a “pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.”
According to The Daily Mail’s TikTok, the ex-Dortmund ace stopped outside of the Carrington training complex on Sunday to sign different merchandise for United fans.
Speaking in the clip, one fan can be heard saying to a young supporter that Sancho “might not want” the card of him in a United shirt to sign.
“I don’t mind,” Sancho said in response to the fan.
Sancho proceeded to take the card from the fan and signed it, with the former England winger also receiving another one for him to keep.
Is it too late for Sancho to save his United career?
It would seem all but certain that Sancho is likely to leave Old Trafford at some point and a loan move away in January could help speed up that process.
United have struggled to offload Sancho, who is under contract until 2026, due to the hefty £300,000-a-week wages that he commands in his current deal at the club.
Dortmund have reportedly agreed to pay a third of Sancho’s mammoth wages as part of the loan deal, with United still set to take a massive hit on the financial side.
Sancho’s stance on his rift with Ten Hag has made him a deeply unpopular figure among supporters and it is increasingly unlikely that he’ll ever win some fans back.
