Manchester United youngster Ethan Laird put in arguably the best performance of any Red Devils loan player this weekend.
Laird starred for Swansea City as they fought back from 3-0 down to claim a 3-3 draw.
The United youngster played a key part in the comeback, providing the assist for Swansea’s injury time equaliser to spark wild celebrations.

Creative force
Laird played in his usual right wing-back role and Luton had no answer for him.
He provided a staggering six goalscoring chances, three of which came from crosses.
Laird’s performance was appreciated by experienced Swansea teammate Jamie Paterson, who left a message on his Instagram page praising his ability.

Laird and Swansea showed real character to bounce back from a poor start to the game and claim a point.
The assist was Laird’s second of the season for the Swans and he is looking like a real prospect, settling in very well at Championship level.
Injury prevented Laird from getting a chance for Manchester United in pre-season, but it did not deny him getting a very good loan move, after a spell at MK Dons in League One in the second half of last season.
Wales Online gave him 8/10 in their player ratings, the highest of any player, reporting that he: “Terrorised Luton after the restart.”
Laird is averaging two key passes per game at Championship level. At just 20-years-old, United will be very encouraged at his early progress.
