There were emotional scenes at Carrington as Solskjaer left United’s training ground.

United supporter Luke Sellers posted a photo hugging Solskjaer as he departed.

Patrice Evra and David Beckham were among the former United stars to pay tribute to Solskjaer.

Marcus Rashford, David de Gea, and Harry Maguire also posted messages thanking the boss for his contribution to the club.
