Manchester United drew 2-2 with Burnley in what was Darren Fletcher’s first game as interim head coach.
Fletcher piled praise onto Benjamin Sesko for his performance at Turf Moor, with the Slovenian scoring twice in the second half to temporarily fire the Red Devils into the lead.

After the full-time whistle, Sesko played down his performance, but it was clear during the match that hitting the back of the net injected confidence into his play.
Sesko silenced his critics with a brilliant performance, and the 22-year-old quickly took to social media to celebrate his goals.

Benjamin Sesko ended a nine-game goal drought on Wednesday evening, and his two goals at Turf Moor doubled his Premier League tally to four for the season.
The Slovenian was quickly on Instagram to send an appreciative message to United fans.
“Thanks for support to our fans. We keep going, all together,” Sesko wrote.

United teammates Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and Matthijs de Ligt were quick to react to the post.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also left a comment applauding Sesko’s achievements.

As soon as Sesko’s first goal went in, it was clear that he grew in confidence, and suddenly he looked like a threat whenever the ball fell to him.
Sesko has been heavily criticised for his slow start to the season, and there is no denying that his goal tally is lower than fans hoped.

But Sesko was at the heart of every attack against Burnley, and he ended the match with seven shots on target – the most of any Premier League player in a single match this season.
Fletcher clearly found a way to get the best out of Sesko, and the return of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could elevate his game further.
