Benjamin Sesko burst into life in the second half against Burnley, and it was just in time.
Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has struggled to score goals since he joined the club from RB Leipzig.
The first 45 minutes against Burnley was more of the same, with Sesko wasting the opportunities that came his way.
When he came out for half-time, he was blasted by Sky Sports television pundit Tim Sherwood, who stated that Manchester United were playing with 10 men.
Sherwood blasted: “At this stage Sesko would not have a Man United shirt on for me.
“I would get Mason Mount on the pitch, I’d put Cunha as a false nine, just get some players who can handle the ball.
“They are playing with one down at the moment.”

Benjamin Sesko did not hear Sherwood’s half-time comments, but he played like he might have done.
He returned at the break full of vigour, determined to seize his opportunity.
The Slovenian doubled his goal tally for United by scoring two goals within 15 minutes of the restart, with two well-taken right-footed strikes.
And suddenly he was pushing to try and score a hat-trick, attempting eight shots in total, with seven landing on target.
It was the most shots on target any player has managed in a Premier League game all season.
Sesko’s confidence is up, and this bodes well for him in the weeks ahead as his confidence had clearly taken a knock in recent weeks.

Sherwood doubles down
Tim Sherwood was made to look silly by Benjamin Sesko’s brace, and he was reminded about it at full-time.
Sherwood doubled down on his criticism by stating that he will not change his criticism of the striker after a 45 minute showing at Turf Moor.
“The positive is Sesko scoring. Hopefully he gets some confidence. It’s taken him six months to turn up but I’m pleased for him.
“He’s had a tough run and I’d have had him off the pitch at half time never to wear a Manchester United shirt again. I stand by what I said, he’s not good enough to play for Manchester United.
“He’s turned up for one game against Burnley who are going to get relegated. Hopefully we start seeing something different from him.”
