This summer has already seen Ineos do excellent work for Manchester United but the biggest statement could be yet to come.
It’s only Ineos‘ inaugural transfer window in charge of the footballing ongoings at Old Trafford, but already they are acting like seasoned veterans with top-of-the-class appointments.
Leny Yoro is a huge statement signing for Manchester United, with his arrival being a sign of the intent within the club to get back to the very top.
Yoro however might not be the only statement arrival at Carrington this summer, as United are now looking to poach one of England’s most exciting teenagers from Arsenal.
It’s this move, which could even end up being the most influential of the summer for Ineos.

Chido Obi-Martin could be Manchester United’s signing of the summer
The 16-year-old goalscoring phenomenon, Chido Obi-Martin looks set to depart Arsenal as he was excluded from their scholarship list on Tuesday.
The wonderkid looks set to join United and here, he’d become immediately a standout prospect at the club, and if he signs then Jason Wilcox will likely take a lot of credit for the swoop.
The young Denmark striker idolises Rasmus Hojlund and he could soon be lining up alongside his fellow Danish talent if all goes to plan.
The reason Chido Obi could be the biggest arrival of the summer despite the fact he’s just a prospect and would be in the U18s is that United would be beating most of Europe to his signature.
To lure a player who was five last time United won the league, above the likes of Bayern Munich and others is truly remarkable and says a lot about the project Ineos have pitched to him.

Chido Obi could rival Yoro arrival for significance
On paper, the arrival of Yoro is the signing of the summer for United, although in the long-term it could be matched in importance by Chido Obi.
The teenage forward scored 32 goals last season at the U18 level, which is a truly remarkable tally, and has led to some suggesting he could one day be as lethal as Erling Haaland.
Chido Obi’s decision to join United will likely be thanks to a mix of Ineos’ projects and also that he’ll have been watching United’s treble-winning U18s last season.
He’ll also have looked at the academy players who have gone on to become stars for United, such as Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. This is vastly different to Arsenal where no academy player has made an impact since Bukayo Saka.
