Marcus Rashford is edging closer to a move away from Manchester United with various clubs keen.

After declaring his ambition for a new challenge last month – this year so far has involved Manchester United’s No.10 evaluating several options for his next club.

Marcus Rashford’s agent has been in Italy – with AC Milan thought to be leading the chase to sign the £300,000-a-week forward.

Reports elsewhere have suggested Rashford could be used in a swap with Napoli for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, which is a move that would excite many fans.

Earlier this week saw Como’s name thrown into the hat but Rashford has ruled out this move, with the financial demands likely too high anyway. Similarly, a Bundesliga move looks unlikely with Jurgen Klopp ruling out a RB Leipzig bid.

Now, it has been revealed what AC Milan’s sales pitch to Rashford is and it is something the 27-year-old will love.

AC Milan make convincing sales pitch to Marcus Rashford

For Rashford there is no shortage of options for a move this January, with plenty of clubs keen to take the England international on a loan with options and obligations potentially included.

Milan however appears to be the standout leader in this race, with the link between Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic playing a big part.

Now, Sky Sports News have reported what Milan are telling Rashford in their sales pitch.

Milan’s sales pitch has sounded something like: “You’re going to be the main man and we’ll build the team around you.”

Milan are expected to begin the domino effect by seeing Noah Okafor depart which begins to clear space for Rashford.

Manchester United never built around Marcus Rashford

Rashford has been told that he would be perfect for Milan, despite his financial demands potentially being too high right now.

However, the sales pitch of telling him he will be the main man is something that Rashford will be swayed by – considering it has never happened before.

For years, Rashford was United’s sole standout player and during this time the club failed to capitalise or build around the in-form forward.

Instead – United added loans like Wout Weghorst which may have slightly helped Rashford to achieve these highs but ultimately was not a move to help the club return to lofty heights.

United failed to build around Rashford, which is why this pitch from Milan will be so tempting for him.
