Manchester United continue to target young players under Ineos in an attempt to create a strong team for the future.
Manchester United completed five first-team signings over the summer in an effort to back Erik ten Hag.
United’s £100million net spend saw reinforcements arrive but it didn’t save Ten Hag from the sack.
We also saw Ineos place a keen focus on landing top young talents for the future.
Aside from Leny Yoro’s big-money move from Lille, United also landed the likes of Sekou Kone and Chido Obi.
United may miss out on Sverre Nypan but we can expect to see Ineos target more youngsters in 2025.

Manchester United trialist to learn from Wilfried Zaha
One man United may well make a move to sign is Nimfasha Berchimas.
United agreed to take Berchimas on trial in December having been impressed with the Charlotte FC talent.
Berchimas posted a photo from Old Trafford and then score against Burnley in an Under-18 clash.
United face competition for Berchimas but a move to Manchester would not be a surprise in 2025.
For now though, Berchimas is looking to develop his game at Charlotte FC – and has a new player to learn from there.
Charlotte FC have confirmed the signing of experienced winger and former United man Wilfried Zaha.
Zaha arrives in the United States on loan from Galatasaray after a frustrating spell with Lyon.
Berchimas is a talented, left sided winger who cuts in on his right foot and Zaha may just be able to teach him a thing or two about that role.
Zaha played nearly 300 Premier League games for Crystal Palace and was one of the top wide men in the country before leaving Palace in 2023.
That kind of longevity at the highest level is something Berchimas can learn from ahead of a potential Premier League move of his own – ideally to United.
Zaha’s own move to United didn’t quite work out but Berchimas could follow in his footsteps – and take some pointers from a winger who has seen it all.
Wilfried Zaha was Sir Alex’s Ferguson’s final United signing
When it comes to his United career, Zaha will forever be known as Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing at Old Trafford.
Snapped up from Crystal Palace in 2013, Zaha was viewed as an exciting addition for the future.
“We like to sign players with potential,” said Ferguson after signing Zaha. “We develop players and that’s been proven many times. Hopefully the boy enjoys it here,” he added to BBC Sport.
Ferguson ended up retiring just months later, before Zaha had even arrived having remained on loan at Palace.
David Moyes didn’t really take to Zaha and he was loaned to Cardiff City before returning to Palace just a year after his arrival.
Zaha still went on to have a great career and that ability to bounce back from a disappointment at United should be a valuable resource for Berchimas as he looks to learn from the veteran winger.
