Manchester United’s summer 2024 transfer window will go down as a big success, from an incoming and outgoing point of view.
Ineos will be very pleased with their first summer transfer window in charge at Manchester United.
From a player signings perspective, Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Manuel Ugarte plus a low-cost move for Sekou Kone, amounts to great business.
For the first summer since 2020/21, United have not broken the £60 million mark for a single player, and the additions this window are much better than that shambolic summer, with Donny van de Beek the standout addition.
United have been able to address multiple positions by spending smartly, using fund accrued by player sales which make this one of the club’s most profitable windows ever.
