Manchester United will be eyeing up potential signings for 2025 with a new winger surely on the wish list at Old Trafford.
Ineos can be pleased with their first summer transfer window at Manchester United.
United invested in the spine of the team as centre backs Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt arrived alongside striker Joshua Zirkzee and midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
Full back Noussair Mazraoui arrived too but United’s key focus was clearly to build through the centre of the pitch at first.
That means a winger was not signed and United may look to bring in a new wide man come the end of the season.

Manchester United given Jamie Leweling encouragement
Antony continues to be linked with a return to Ajax having flopped during his time at Old Trafford.
That means that United are taking an interest in other wingers such as Bologna’s Dan Ndoye as well as Stuttgart’s Jamie Leweling.
Reports earlier in October claimed that United have been watching Leweling ahead of potentially trying to sign him.
United will now be interested to know that Leweling has a release clause in his contract at Stuttgart.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg claims that Leweling can leave Stuttgart for around €25million (£21million) next summer.
Plettenberg adds that there is already ‘significant interest’ in Leweling and ‘top clubs from England’ are very keen.
That would line up with United’s rumoured interest in Leweling and the fee wouldn’t break the bank, coming in at just a quarter of the price paid for Antony in 2022.
Leweling started on the left flank for Stuttgart in a 1-0 win over Juventus on Tuesday night but can also operate on the right side.
That versatility should appeal to United, who will be looking for budget-friendly options to challenge the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad DIallo.

Stuttgart chief on Leweling
Leweling ticks those boxes and Stuttgart have all but confirmed that such a clause exists in his deal.
Sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has now admitted that Leweling is a case of being able to sign a quality player thanks to offering a release clause.
Wohlgemuth would not confirm the value of the clause but accepts that Stuttgart had to strike such deals to improve their squad.
“When it comes to a clause, it’s about the content of a contract,” said Wohlgemuth.
“We do not comment on that publicly. But in principle, we were able to secure quality that we normally wouldn’t have been able to afford in various cases. Clauses are also a symptom of the fact that we still have some catching up to do to reach the top clubs in the Bundesliga,” he added.
The door appears to be open for United to swoop in and sign Leweling in 2025, but this may only become a serious prospect at the end of the season.
The clause seemingly doesn’t kick in until next summer but if Leweling continues to impress in Germany, United will surely be ready to pounce.
