Manchester United continue to be linked with potential signings out wide and may have been impressed with one target on Monday night.
Manchester United were busy in the summer transfer window but focused on the spine of the team.
Two centre backs, a midfielder and a striker arrived with Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte and Joshua Zirkzee snapped up
Full back Noussair Mazraoui signed too but United chose not to move for another wide man.
There were links to Dan Ndoye but United decided to stick with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo and Antony.
The results remain a little mixed right now though and United may be keen to land another winger in 2025.

Manchester United target enjoys dream Germany debut
One target in mind is Stuttgart star Jamie Leweling.
Reports last week suggested that United have been watching Leweling ahead of a potential move.
The 23-year-old has blossomed with Stuttgart having previously shown potential with Greuther Furth and Union Berlin.
Leweling’s fine displays down the right flank resulted in a debut appearance for Germany against the Netherlands on Monday night.
This turned into a dream evening for Leweling as he scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win, smashing a loose ball into the roof of the net.
United may have been impressed with Leweling but there was no doubting what the German media felt.

Sportbuzzer rated Leweling as one of the best players on the pitch, suggesting that he turned in a ‘strong performance’.
“Almost made a dream debut for the national team, but his supposed 1-0 goal after just over a minute was ruled out for offside. Still made a dream debut because his goal in the 64th minute was perfect. After a Kimmich corner, the ball bounced out of the crowd and Leweling took a shot – his shot almost went through the net. Otherwise, a strong performance on the left side. Winner of the evening and applauded when he was substituted,” they wrote.
Spox were also impressed with Leweling, suggesting that he was the only real ‘bright spot’ for Germany against the Netherlands.
“Leweling fully justified his appearance. His supposed 1-0 in the 2nd minute did not count because the assist provider Gnabry was offside, so Leweling simply scored again in the 64th minute to make it 1-0. This time for real. Another dangerous shot was blocked in front of the line (28th), and there were also some creative passes. The bright spot among a lot of rock-solid mediocrity,” they wrote.
No Upcoming Fixtures
Frankfurter Rundschau added that Leweling made a ‘lasting impression’ with a ‘busy’ performance out wide for Germany.
“The DFB newcomer was busy on the left offensive side. Leweling himself had been rewarded with a goal after just under two minutes – but the goal was disallowed after video evidence. After the break, he thundered the ball into the net to make it 1-0 – and left a lasting impression,” they wrote.
Sport.de praised Leweling for a ‘carefree’ performance, suggesting that he was the ‘most dangerous’ Germany player on the night.
“He acted carefree and always caused problems for his opponents when he moved towards goal. His early goal was disallowed, but Leweling remained the most dangerous DFB star after that. He rewarded himself with the winning goal for a really good debut,” they wrote.
United were hopefully watching Leweling closely ahead of a possible move and must have been impressed as he handed the Netherlands a defeat.
