Eduardo Camavinga may be more inclined to leave Real Madrid after his latest meeting with Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United need one more midfield signing to complete their summer rebuild and Eduardo Camavinga is towards the top of Ineos’ shortlist.

Reports suggest Camavinga wants to stay at Madrid and fight for his spot, but Jose Mourinho’s appointment at the Bernabeu has shaken up the squad standings.

United are also interested in Camavinga’s Madrid teammate Aurelien Tchouameni, but the former may be the only one available this summer.

Eduardo Camavinga warned about game time at Real Madrid

According to Spanish journalist Sergio Valentin, Mourinho has told Camavinga he is going to have a “very tough” time getting minutes at Madrid next season.

Mourinho has been direct with the 23-year-old about his squad status and how he has dropped down the pecking order ahead of 2026/27.

The report also states that Madrid are “looking for options for Camavinga to be transferred”.

While his preference so far has been to stay, reports have claimed that Camavinga is open to joining United, and he might sway towards a move to Old Trafford after Mourinho’s comments.
