Manchester United’s transfer deadline day was a pretty quiet one as Ruben Amorim was left without an attacking addition.
That’s another transfer window done and dusted for Manchester United and we can understand some frustration.
United did sign two players for right now with Ayden Heaven and Patrick Dorgu snapped up.
Diego Leon has joined United from Cerro Porteno too, but the Paraguayan talent will only arrive this summer.
United’s window takes a real look towards the future but the lack of attacking additions will be a concern.
Marcus Rashford joined Aston Villa and Antony signed for Real Betis, meaning United have allowed attacking players to leave but not replaced them.

Gary Neville on Mathys Tel
United did explore the attacking market but came out empty-handed as the clock struck 11pm on Monday night.
Christopher Nkunku was on United’s wish list but a deal could not be agreed with Chelsea.
Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel allegedly wanted to join United and the Frenchman appeared to be the main target.
Tel ended up joining Tottenham Hotspur instead, penning a loan deal with option for a permanent move.
United backed away from Tel for two reasons – the loan fee involved and Bayern’s initial stance of there being no permanent option.
Tottenham managed to get the deal done and United legend Gary Neville has offered his reaction to the Frenchman’s move.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Neville suggested that he is actually glad to see Tel sign for Spurs are ‘flirting’ with other clubs.
Neville believes that Tel will go in an improve Tottenham immediately and believes that Spurs can offer him the playing time he needs.
Neville may well fear that Tel would be another player who doesn’t quite fulfil his potential at United, or that his playing time would be impacted by the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
The former right back doesn’t seem too upset at United missing out either way, and actually seems happy to see Tel join Tottenham instead.
“Tottenham are a huge draw, the stadium and the training ground – and the manager with his style of football,” said Neville.
“It’s a thrilling style that creates chances. I’m glad Tel is going there after flirting with a couple of other clubs. The factor of locking down a permanent transfer in the summer was a major factor for clubs. Tel will improve Spurs.
“They have a big couple of weeks coming up. Sometimes players like the idea of playing for a club but the important thing is to play football. That’s what Tottenham can provide him. They are an amazing football club with an amazing fanbase and they have some great games coming up that he can contribute in,” he added.

Mathys Tel in line to play against Manchester United
Tel will look to make a fast start in a Tottenham shirt and he actually has an almost immediate chance to impress against United.
Tottenham host United on February 16 and will be looking to complete the double over Ruben Amorim’s side.
Spurs beat United 3-0 at Old Trafford earlier this season, inflicting a painful defeat on Erik ten Hag.
Amorim faced Tottenham in the EFL Cup just before Christmas too, but lost 4-3 to crash out in the quarter-finals.
Tottenham have had United’s number this season and Tel will be looking to show United just what they are missing later this month.
