With the transfer window closing in a week, Manchester United are now discussing the possible exit of Jadon Sancho.
The 24-year-old is no longer public enemy number one at Old Trafford, but he is far from being prominent in Erik ten Hag’s plans.
Jadon Sancho and the manager set their differences aside prior to pre-season and the forward then played a pretty prominent role during the US tour.
But he was not involved against Fulham due to illness and other options, and Ten Hag has suggested that Sancho is not guaranteed a squad place.
Sancho’s ‘superstar‘ status will not last forever and if United are to get rid of him and recoup some of the £73m Sancho cost in 2021, this summer could be the last chance.

Juventus open talks over Jadon Sancho
With a week remaining in this summer’s transfer window, now Juventus have reportedly taken steps toward signing the talented forward.
Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth took to X with his update, writing that Juventus now have a firm interest in signing Sancho and are now exploring the conditions of a deal.
He adds that talks over personal terms are thought to have taken place already, with United open to suitable offers.
French press have taken the claim even further with RMC Sport reporting that talks between Juventus and United are opened, with the Red Devils demanding €30m (£25.4m) to sell the Englishman this summer.
It is added that it will be up to Sancho whether he wants to join the Turin side or PSG.
Juventus are not the only club showing an interest, with Barcelona keen on taking Sancho on loan.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Chelsea could make a move for Sancho before the transfer window closes.
Manchester United now cutting losses on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dream signing
There was a time when Jadon Sancho was the most sought-after player among United fans, and he was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dream signing, but the move has not worked out as planned.
Sancho had a slow start in his debut season, and well it never quite got better with his best season being the first year under Ten Hag.
But with three years of bad form under his belt, now is the correct time for United to accept the hit and cut the losses, permanently selling Sancho.
Ten Hag has no intention of using him enough to see him improve or keep him happy so it is time for Solskjaer’s dream signing to head elsewhere.
