Manchester United could benefit this summer from the chaotic recruitment policy at Chelsea.
Over the past three summers, Chelsea has gone from one of football’s best-managed clubs to now being arguably the worst, all at the hands of Todd Boehly.
With no real plan, they seem to be stockpiling football players with there being no way they can play them all. It has since gotten to the point that we have to ponder why any player would want to move to Stamford Bridge.
But now it seems that Manchester United are thinking that they could end up benefitting from this recklessness, with several players still available to depart this summer.
Now, after Facundo Pellistri looks to complete a move to Panathinaikos, United are thinking another winger could be set for an exit.

Manchester United expect Chelsea to make Jadon Sancho move
This summer always seemed likely to see Jadon Sancho make his permanent exit from Old Trafford but with just 10 days remaining in the transfer window, time is running out.
It had looked like PSG were going to be the club most likely to try and sign him this summer, but this now looks unlikely after their signing of Desire Doue.
However according to The Athletic, United are sensing that Chelsea could make an approach to sign Sancho. This comes a week after it was reported that Chelsea could offer United a swap deal to sign the talented winger.
United’s struggles of shifting on Sancho so far have been primarily due to finding a club willing to pay his wages – something Chelsea might do in a heartbeat.
The asking price for Sancho is around £40m, a figure which could prove a bargain for the right club, with the No.25 having plenty left to offer.
Outside of Chelsea, it has been reported by Dharmesh Sheth that there are a number of European clubs still exploring a deal, with it being one to watch ahead of deadline day.
Despite his return to the fold, Sancho must still be sold
There looked to be no way back for Sancho at United this summer, but he and Erik ten Hag put their disagreements behind them prior to the pre-season tour.
Since then, he has played a pretty substantial role for United, right up until the competitive games started.
That being said, if the chance to sell does arise then United absolutely have to take it because he is simply too expensive to keep when he will not be playing a role in the team – not even making the bench against Fulham showed this.
Hopefully, we now see some movement in the coming days to see him exit permanently in a fresh start for all parties.
