Antoine Semenyo will be high up on many Premier League clubs’ transfer shortlists in 2026, and Manchester United are also very keen.

The Bournemouth star has continued on from last season and somehow got even better under Andoni Iraola this campaign.

Antoine Semenyo is establishing himself as one of the best players in the league, and Manchester United are keen.

Despite bolstering the attack, United still want to sign Semenyo in 2026 and have plans to challenge for his signature.

Now, the forward has discussed speculation over his future.

United in Focus revealed that United were plotting a Semenyo move for January, but Bournemouth have no designs on this happening.

Well, now Semenyo has had his say on his future during a conversation with Sky Sports News amid his excellent form.

Who is your dream Manchester United signing in 2026?

Having been asked about whether he pays notice to the rumours, Semenyo admitted, “Yeah, I just try not to take too much notice of it.

“I think it’s just staying focused, stay in the moment, stay present, and continue doing what I’m doing on the pitch. I mean, whatever it will be will be.”

This attitude is exactly what we want to hear from potential United signings, not getting swept away by the links, which Carlos Baleba has suffered from this season.

Antoine Semenyo would be perfect for Manchester United

The transfer business Manchester United completed in the summer of 2025 is what Ineos should be aiming for going forward.

Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha are examples of perfect business, and Semenyo would be a signing along similar lines for United.

With United having a left wing-back issue, Semenyo could be the ideal signing to give Amorim the same threat on the left as on the right with Amad.

Semenyo has the work rate to shine in this position and also the offensive quality to score and create down that side in what Amorim would want to be a winger-back role.

This season has seen Semenyo kick on even further at Bournemouth, and United must be in the running when he becomes available.
