The summer is shaping up to be huge for Manchester United with the top target continuing to impress.
We are around four months from the summer transfer market opening, yet already Manchester United’s plan seems set in stone.
Ruben Amorim has made his desires clear to Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell, with United set to focus on signing players with intensity.
Ineos owe Amorim after failing to sign a striker in January – therefore a blockbuster summer is expected at United.
With this in mind, United should get off to a quick start, and one addition is already being planned within Old Trafford.

Geovany Quenda impressive for Sporting Lisbon despite defeat
There are six transfers United look likely to pursue this summer, among these names is Geovany Quenda.
Already it has been reported by David Ornstein that United are planning a move for Quenda ahead of the summer transfer window.
United had scouts watching Quenda on Tuesday night when Sporting Lisbon faced Borussia Dortmund.
It was a bad night for Amorim’s former side, as they were thrashed 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League play-off.
However, individually Quenda had yet another impressive outing.
Another performance which shows why United are right to be targeting a summer move for the 17-year-old.
Quenda stats show Manchester United he’s a must-sign
Tuesday’s performance from Quenda was not his best – but it came in a struggle as his side were well and truly battered.
Here are Quenda’s numbers from the game…
- 90 minutes
- 33/40 passes
- 3 chances created
- 61 touches
- 2 successful dribbles
- 3 successful crosses
- 2 interceptions
- 3 defensive actions
- 2 recoveries
- 6 duels won
Quenda had a game which would have gotten a lot more praise if Sporting had won – but he did his part and showed creativity and also impressively defensive qualities.
Despite playing right-wing for this Sporting side, Amorim would play him as a wing-back which makes the duels won exciting to see.
Quenda should join Chris Rigg as a must-sign target for United this summer – it’s clear.
