Manchester United are set for a summer clearout under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, meaning some player’s futures are uncertain at Old Trafford.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his Ineos mob are seemingly planning a clearout around Carrington, meaning that certain Manchester United players should be rather worried.
The report stated that up to 11 players could be axed, but we think it could be even more if they had it their way.
So, with this – here we decide whether to keep or sell every single player in Manchester United’s first-team squad.
Altay Bayindir – Keep

Altay Bayindir has not had the chance to prove himself really at Old Trafford, meaning it would be rather unfair to shun him away. As a backup keeper, we think he’s pretty competent. He is also on a low wage – which helps dramatically.
Tom Heaton – Keep

Tom Heaton can also be kept, for multiple reasons. Heaton is on next to nothing and it’s yet another English player to fit the Premier League‘s criteria. He is also a great figure to have in the dressing room.
Andre Onana – Keep

Andre Onana has seriously proven himself worthy of the number-one slot around Old Trafford as of late. The former Inter Milan star is just getting started for the Red Devils, and should definitely be the first choice as we embark into the Ratcliffe-influenced era of the club.
Diogo Dalot – Keep

Diogo Dalot has proven he’s an integral part of Ratcliffe’s rebuild this season. Dalot has arguably been Manchester United’s player of the season and has the right-back slot locked down in red.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Keep

Although many may think otherwise, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a ridiculously handy player to have. He proved with his position change against Liverpool his worth to the club. He’s essentially a cheat code when it comes to man-marking a winger, and is more than a competent backup to Dalot.
Victor Lindelof – Sell

Our first sale on the list unfortunately has to be Victor Lindelof. Although he has his good games, with the trajectory United want to be heading in – room needs to be made at the back. Lindelof has just one year left on his contract, meaning the time to cash in may be now.
He has been a good servant for the club, but we think it’s time he’s moved on in favour of some fresh blood. However, he could be kept in one instance. Keep reading on…
Harry Maguire – Keep

Although a tough decision between the two of him and Lindelof, Harry Maguire is the one we’d keep. Maguire is still a class act at the back and is worthy of staying at Old Trafford.
Lisandro Martinez – Keep

100% keep Lisandro Martinez. We just hope he can sort his injury problems out.

Raphael Varane – Keep

This is the hardest one for us, and doesn’t have a definitive answer. But, if we could, we’d keep Raphael Varane. However, this is easier said than done. To justify keeping the Frenchman, he’d simply have to take a pay cut. In an ideal world, he does and remains in Manchester next season.
If we couldn’t negotiate with Varane, then we’d actually keep Lindelof.
Jonny Evans – Sell

Jonny Evans rejoined Manchester United for the 23/24 season on a one-year deal on a free, and although he’s been class, it should remain that way. Let him go, but we’d love to see him return in a role with the coaching staff.
Tyrell Malacia – Sell

What has happened to Tyrell Malacia? Nobody really knows, but after this whole season’s chaotic debacle – we’d want to let him go as soon as possible.
Luke Shaw – Keep

Despite a plethora of injuries, Luke Shaw is arguably still the best left-back in the Premier League. He needs to be kept.
Casemiro – Sell

Times up for the £60m man in our eyes. The highest earner at the club can’t stay fit enough to justify keeping him. Casemiro, it’s been a pleasure, but off you pop.
Scott McTominay – Keep

Scott McTominay has proven himself a worthy squad player this season. Some of his goals have been vital. Keep.
Christian Eriksen – Sell

No hard feelings about letting Christian Eriksen go either. He came for free, and will leave for free. Another off the wage bill.
Hannibal Mejbri – Sell

Hot-head Hannibal Mejbri has shown he can’t even do it at Sevilla, never mind United. Another one to look at shipping out when he returns from loan.
Mason Mount – Keep

Mason Mount hasn’t been able to prove himself yet at United due to injury. He deserves at least one more season before we can really pass judgement on the Champions League winner.
Sofyan Amrabat – Sell

This isn’t exactly sell, but more so don’t buy for Sofyan Amrabat. He’s been rather abysmal on loan from Fiorientina, and we would encourage Erik ten Hag to exercise the option to purchase – nor do we think he will.
Donny van de Beek – Sell

Poor old Donny van de Beek. What happened to him? After yet another unsuccessful loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt, it’s time to pull the trigger for good.
Kobbie Mainoo – Keep

Kobbie Mainoo can’t be sold by any means. Ever. United have an absolute worldie on their hands who is priceless.
Bruno Fernandes – Keep

Bruno Fernandes, the club captain, is an obvious keep. He’s one of United’s most integral players.
Amad Diallo – Keep

Amad Diallo has completely transformed the trajectory of his Manchester United career with his strike against Liverpool. He could still have a big role to play at the Red Devils yet. Keep.
Antony – Keep

A dubious one – but we’d keep hold of Antony. After paying £85m for his services, United will not receive anywhere near that back if they were to sell. He is also only young and could still come good. Keep… for now.
Facundo Pellistri – Sell

We’ve seen enough of Facundo Pellistri to know he isn’t a United player going forward. Hopefully we get a little bit for him.
Anthony Martial – Sell

A man that’s already gone in everyone’s eyes. Anthony Martial should have been sold years ago, but instead will leave Old Trafford on a free.
Marcus Rashford – Keep

Although Marcus Rashford has his blemishes and faults, he’s United through and through. He needs to be kept.

Jadon Sancho – Sell

Jadon Sancho signed his United resignation under Ten Hag when he had the infamous spat. Now, even if the Dutchman remains in charge, we think its time to leave permanently. We pray he keeps up his new-found form at Dortmund so we can get at least some of what was paid back.
Rasmus Hojlund – Keep

What a player Rasmus Hojlund is. Our new striker for, hopefully, years and years to come. Keep at all costs
Mason Greenwood – Sell

We won’t go much into this one – but we think its best if Manchester United part ways with Mason Greenwood.
Alejandro Garnacho – Keep

Another one of our starboys. Alejandro Garnacho also needs to be kept and allowed to flourish on the wing for years to come.
