Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho has continued his improving form with a brilliant goal in the Champions League.

Jadon Sancho has truly returned to his former glory, with two goals in his last two games. This sees him looking confident and enjoying his football once again which is a positive.

For Manchester United, this presents a tricky conundrum on whether to bring him back into the fold or not, with much likely dependent on whether Erik ten Hag remains or not.

Such a strong performance and goal hasn’t gone unnoticed either, with Sancho’s display picking up praise from German media and even a World Cup winner.

This included World Cup-winning German Sami Khedira who was on commentary for DAZN as he said: “Individual class! This is simply pure football ecstasy.”

This was added to by BILD who reviewed Sancho’s outing prior to his exit through injury: “Jadon Sancho, who showed his probably best performance since his BVB return tonight, actually has to get out injured.”

BILD also referred to Sancho’s goal as they raved about how he “irresistibly” finished with his right foot.

Finally, Die Welt wrote that Sanchos goal only further highlighted his return to form in the Yellow and Black of Dortmund: “Sancho let the BVB fans cheer with a shot from 18 meters already in the third minute and documented his ascending form.”

Jadon Sancho’s stats vs PSV will be encouraging for Manchester United

Ineos will undoubtedly be watching on to keep track of Sancho as they won’t want to lose him if he’s back in form, particularly if Ten Hag departs.

So watching him on Wednesday will have been very encouraging for United.

Sancho played 75 minutes before being withdrawn for an injury which isn’t thought to be serious. In the game, he not only scored but created two chances according to FotMob.

He also completed two successful dribbles and contributed defensively too with five duels won, seven recoveries and four defensive actions.
