Senne Lammens

Senne Lammens has been a revelation since his deadline day move from Royal Antwerp. How many extra points would we have if he signed at the start of the summer?

Lammens has been an instant upgrade on Andre Onana at goalkeeper, looking like another reincarnation of Edwin van der Sar. He will be a key player at United for years to come.

Diogo Dalot

Diogo Dalot has been a key player for United, starting 28 out of 35 Premier League games so far this season.

He has looked far more comfortable at right-back in a flat back four since Michael Carrick took over, and is the manager’s clear preference at the position.

Harry Maguire

Manchester United’s most reliable centre-back this season has actually been Harry Maguire. The former captain has fully earned his contract renewal, a towering presence at the back in every game he has played.

Maguire also contributed one of the best moments of the season, a headed winner away at Anfield.

Luke Shaw

Luke Shaw‘s turnaround has been so impressive. Incredibly he has started every single Premier League game, a feat he has never come close to doing before.

Shaw started only 16 league games the previous two seasons combined. His improvement in terms of reliability alone has been miraculous.

Casemiro

Casemiro‘s final season might actually end up being his best of all. The Brazilian has returned to his absolute best, and become a regular scorer from midfield.

The former Real Madrid midfielder will leave at the end of the season when his contract expires, but fans have been leading chants urging him to stay, such is the appreciation for his contribution.

Kobbie Mainoo

Kobbie Mainoo barely got a kick during the first half of the season. Ruben Amorim’s sacking and Michael Carrick’s appointment has changed everything.

Mainoo has been busy making up for lost time ever since, including a winner against Liverpool. The young midfielder has been integral to United’s run of form in 2026, and has reminded everybody why he is a cornerstone of the club’s future.

Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United’s captain has put together an unbelievable campaign that has made him a top contender for Premier League Player of the Season.

Bruno Fernandes has reached a new level under Carrick, delivering assist after assist with a Premier League record in his sights.

Bryan Mbeumo

Bryan Mbeumo‘s form has faded in recent months but his contribution to the 2025/26 season has been vital.

Mbeumo’s knack of scoring in big games has been so important, none more so than his opener in the 2-0 win over City.

Matheus Cunha

Matheus Cunha has been an integral player in United’s turnaround this season, bringing a combination of grit and magic to Manchester United’s attack.

He has delivered winning goals away at Arsenal and Chelsea, also scoring against Villa and Liverpool, and like Mbeumo, there is a lot more to come in the years ahead.

Benjamin Sesko

Similarly to Kobbie Mainoo, Benjamin Sesko‘s season took off in 2026, and the Slovenian striker is now into double figures.

Sesko now looks like he belongs, embracing the responsibility of leading the line at Old Trafford. Whether as a starter or from the bench, Sesko is a difficult striker for defenders to contain.
