Joshua Zirkzee has now explained what every Manchester United player did for new summer signings Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, Diego Leon and Matheus Cunha.
Ruben Amorim received a major boost to his Manchester United first-team squad after Ineos have been active with their latest summer transfer spending spree.
Ineos made immediate moves in the summer window after the disappointing 2024-25 Premier League season, with United signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
Following United’s signing of Matheus Cunha for a £62.5 transfer fee in June, the Red Devils welcomed the arrival of Paraguayan wonderkid Diego Leon in July.
Ineos stepped up United’s pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo in the summer window and the Red Devils wrapped up their transfer saga with the former Brentford ace last month.

Manchester United landed Bryan Mbeumo for an initial fee of £65m, with the package for the 26-year-old ex-Brentford star reaching £71m thanks to add-ons.
Joining Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon at the Red Devils is none other than Benjamin Sesko, who completed his move to Old Trafford earlier this month.
United entered the race to sign Sesko from RB Leipzig and the Red Devils landed him ahead of Newcastle, with the club agreeing to £66.3m plus add-ons for the deal.
Joshua Zirkzee has now admitted that the Red Devils players did everything in their power to welcome the likes of Sesko, Mbeumo, Leon and Cunha to Old Trafford.
The 24-year-old United striker said that “every individual” contributed in their own way by making sure it was “easy as possible” for the new signings to “feel at home.”
“Yeah, it is a special vibe,” he told United Review, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“I mean, every individual contributes to that. For example, the new guys, we want to make it as easy as possible for them to feel at home in this environment.
“But if you see the way that they [have] come in, and also what they add to our environment, it just works together very well.
“It’s just our job that we stay this close together and also when we have a setback.”
Joshua Zirkzee explains the elite mindset that is building in the Man Utd squad under Ruben Amorim
Zirkzee insisted that the Red Devils are now feeling a “bigger hunger” at Old Trafford and he believes that Ruben Amorim is a driving force for that message.
“It’s not, of course, just going to be all sunshine. I think this group is ready for that, to be honest,” he continued.
“We have some great guys, experienced guys, young guys.”
Zirkzee added: “There’s a hunger in this team. There’s even a bigger hunger I think from our manager, from our coach.
“So, it’s up to us to just keep improving and also enjoying what we’re doing.”
United lost 1-0 to Arsenal in their 2025-26 Premier League opener at Old Trafford and the Red Devils will now visit Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Sunday.
