United fans react to Fred's skill which 'destroyed' De Bruyne
Manchester United fans were not rewarded with an exciting performance against City on Saturday night.
A derby win had seemed like a perfect tonic for a Champions League exit, but a loss would have piled on the pain.
In the end both teams seemed content to settle for a 0-0 draw, with United making just one change in the second half.
Amid a lack of highlights, one of the few bright spots was seeing Fred embarrass Kevin de Bruyne with a pirouette turn in the first half.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
It was a rare piece of skill from the Brazilian, beating City’s best player in the process.
Given the lack of urgency up front and chances created, this was one of the more memorable moments from the game, and United supporters loved it…
Fred almost was not on the pitch to pull the piece of skill off.
He was clattered in the 14th minute and left the field for treatment and it looked like he was going to be substituted with Nemanja Matic warming up.
Fortunately Fred made a swift recovery to return and play all 90 minutes.
His performance showed why he was so badly missed in Leipzig, and makes his sending off against PSG look even more costly.
