Alejandro Garnacho’s exit from Chelsea and subsequent move to Aston Villa this summer caught the eye of one key former Manchester United first-team player.
The 22-year-old former Manchester United winger left Old Trafford last summer and completed a stunning £40m transfer to Premier League side Chelsea.
However, Alejandro Garnacho disappointed in his debut season at Stamford Bridge after he netted only eight times in 43 matches across all competitions for the Blues.
The Chelsea flop was shipped out of the Premier League side in a loan deal and David de Gea has now dropped his reaction to Garnacho’s transfer to Aston Villa.

Alejandro Garnacho has been handed another lifeline by making his latest move to Aston Villa, which includes an obligation for the Premier League club to buy him.
Chelsea have reportedly agreed to easily attainable terms that would see the Argentina international move to Villa Park permanently in a £43m deal in 2027.
Garnacho emerged through the ranks of the Manchester United youth academy and broke into the first team while Fiorentina’s David de Gea was still at Old Trafford.
The Chelsea winger shared a photo of himself on Instagram wearing the Villa shirt and United legend De Gea was spotted in the comments of the social media post.
“All the best,” De Gea wrote, adding a flexing arm emoji.
