Manchester United are quickening the pace of departures after signing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, with a wonderkid next on the list of loans.
Due to no European football, Man Utd are prioritising first-team football for their young prospects instead of keeping them to pad out numbers for the senior squad.
Some loans have already been sanctioned, while others should happen soon, like for Harry Amass and, more recently, Toby Collyer.
Meanwhile, Tyler Fredricson and Ethan Wheatley have been among the players to react to the loan of a player Willy Kambwala has called a ‘giant’.

Radek Vitek seals Bristol City loan
Radek Vitek has quickly emerged as a genuine first-team contender for the future at Old Trafford after impressing on every loan spell.
Vitek shone at BW Linz last season, and that was after impressing at Accrington in League Two and catching the eye while playing for Man Utd in pre-season last campaign.
He was marked as someone who could break through at Man Utd this season, especially due to United’s goalkeeping situation, but the club deemed him not ready yet.
It was reported earlier that Vitek was on his way to Sturm Graz, but a change of plans has seen him join Bristol City on loan for the season.
It’s a positive move that hints at his potential as a future first-team player, and there was a strong academy flavour when the player announced his move.
Vitek posted on his Instagram with the caption, “New challenge ahead, Can’t wait to get started.” Tyler Fredricson, United’s newest wonderkid, reacted with a clapping emoji, while former United player Marc Jurado wrote, “Yes Radeckoo” with a fire emoji.
Willy Kambwala, sold by United last season and now with Villarreal, called him a “GIANT”, while Ethan Wheatley, who will be aiming for a loan for himself this season, wrote, “Yes Radek”.
Jacob Devaney and Thomas Myles were among the other Man Utd players, present or past, to engage with the post.
Inflection point for Vitek’s Man Utd prospects
A loan to Sturm Graz was theoretically more high-profile, since they are the defending champions in the Austrian Bundesliga, but a Championship loan gets Vitek closer to a first-team berth at Old Trafford.
After years of impressing in the academy, or out on loan, or during pre-season for the senior team, a Championship loan is the inflection point for his prospects at the club.
If he impresses at Bristol City, like a certain Dean Henderson did at Sheffield United, then the calls for him to be given a chance in the first team in 2026/27 will grow louder.
He might become undeniable at that point, and barring Bristol City getting promoted to the Premier League, will warrant a place at Man Utd.
If he doesn’t, however, then the unforgiving nature of football will come to the fore, and all his good work leading up to this loan will be forgotten.
Since he has signed a new contract before leaving, it is clear that the club view his prospects as bright, so it’s not a make-or-break loan.
However, it is the loan where he can call himself a Man Utd first-team goalkeeper in 2026/27, or get stuck in a loan cycle.
