Manchester United do have a good chance of beating Liverpool this weekend despite the very differing form of the two teams.
If United are to get the win, there are three players the team need to be fit.
And the fact these three missed many of our recent fixtures tells you how dependent we are on them.
Here is a look at the three United players who can inspire a victory…

Anthony Martial
Anthony Martial ‘is expected to be fit’ ESPN report, for the first time since August.
United’s attack has collapsed without him, with Marcus Rashford unable to play the central striker role effectively.
Martial being fit helps bring Rashford into the game out wide, a position where he tore Trent Alexander-Arnold apart 18 months ago.
Martial was United’s best attacker in pre-season and linked up well with the midfield. He scored two goals in his opening three games before getting injured.
If he is not fit then we don’t feel too optimistic, but if he starts, then it’s on.

Paul Pogba
Creating chances is hard for United right now and it will especially be the case against a tough Liverpool defence protected by Fabinho.
Paul Pogba being fit is absolutely crucial and United need to get him into an attacking role.
The Frenchman is key to United getting a foothold in midfield and linking the midfield and attack.
If Pogba cares about his reputation and landing a big move away in the summer, he can do himself a big favour by playing a starring role for the underdogs in this fixture.
And if he wants to ingratiate himself with United fans, inspiring a win against Liverpool is the perfect way to do it. He has all the motivation he could need.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Shutting down Liverpool’s attack is going to be tricky. They have scored 20 goals in eight league games, that’s 11 more than United.
So getting back our best full-back is so important to shutting them out.
Wan-Bissaka has recovered from his bout of tonsillitis which kept him out of United’s three previous games.
It really was a struggle without him and this is a great opportunity for him to back up all the praise he has been getting.
Having Wan-Bissaka available transforms the face of our defence.
