Manchester United have launched their 2026/27 home kit early but there are several players who could change their number ahead of next season.

On Thursday morning, Manchester United revealed the new 2026/27 home kit, which is set to be worn this season.

The Red Devils will wear the kit against Nottingham Forest in the final home game of the season and also against Brighton on the final day.

United have put the kit up for sale, including those with numbers on the back. But several players could make a change for 2026/27.

What do you think of the new Man Utd home kit for 2026/27?

Benjamin Sesko

When his £66m move was completed from RB Leipzig, Sesko took the No.30 shirt at Old Trafford.

At the time, Rasmus Hojlund was still on the books as United’s No.9, although his permanent move to Napoli is now imminent.

Sesko wants the No.9 shirt and it will be free this summer, so a change can be expected.

Senne Lammens

Senne Lammens has worn the No.31 shirt for United, but since his arrival he has been the No.1 goalkeeper choice.

Altay Bayindir is expected to leave this summer, meaning the traditional No.1 goalkeeper shirt will be free.

Lammens has done more than enough to earn that change.

Kobbie Mainoo

Since his promotion to the first team in 2023, Kobbie Mainoo has worn the number 37 on the back of his shirt.

This season, Mainoo signed a new five-year deal and cemented his status as a key player in this United squad. Next season, his importance could be represented by a new squad number.

With Casemiro leaving this summer, his No.18 shirt will be vacant. The shirt number, previously worn by Paul Scholes and Bruno Fernandes, has great history.

What is your message to Casemiro ahead of his final home game at Old Trafford?

Do you think it will be a scoring farewell for Casemiro?

Shea Lacey

This season was a breakthrough campaign for Shea Lacey, who made a handful of impressive cameos off the bench.

The 19-year-old winger has become a regular in the first team, and that means he could potentially drop down from his No.61 shirt.

The numbers 14 and 17 are currently available, while 12 could be vacated by Tyrell Malacia.

Bryan Mbeumo

Bryan Mbeumo wears the No.19 for United – the same number he wore previously at Brentford.

But in his career, Mbeumo has also worn the No.11 shirt – the traditional number for a winger.

With rumours of Joshua Zirkzee leaving this summer, it could free up the iconic No.11 shirt previously worn by Ryan Giggs.

Alternatively, United’s iconic No.7 shirt is currently worn by Mason Mount, but if the English star is sold this summer then Mbeumo will surely want to stake a claim.
