TalkSPORT presenter totally contradicts himself with latest Jadon Sancho comments

TalkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil has bizarrely contradicted himself after his latest claim on Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho amid the player’s fallout with Erik ten Hag.

Sancho’s Old Trafford future has been plunged into serious doubt after he dropped a statement on social media over his absence from the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.

The 23-year-old winger was left out of the United squad for the Gunners clash and Ten Hag suggested that he was not happy with Sancho’s performances in training.

Sancho brutally hit back after Ten Hag made his admission and the England international claimed that he was being treated as a “scapegoat for a long time.”

The ex-Borussia Dortmund star has since been excluded from the United first team after reportedly refusing to apologise to Ten Hag over their high-profile public spat.

United in September confirmed that Sancho, who arrived in 2021 for a £73m fee, had been placed on a “personal training programme” after a “squad discipline issue.”

What has Brazil said about Sancho now?

Speaking on talkSPORT (via the Metro), Brazil claimed that United players are “not having” Ten Hag and they are “disgusted” with the manager’s treatment of two players.

The talkSPORT presenter said that one of the players was Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a public fallout with Ten Hag before he signed for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.

Brazil named the other player who was treated poorly by Ten Hag as Sancho, who he called a “great guy” and who “works his socks off.”

He said on Wednesday morning’s talkSPORT show: “Do you know what I was hearing, and you’ve got to be careful what you report on but this is what I’ve heard from a United player who told someone we know very well.

“He said the players are not having the manager. They’re not having him, definitely not.

“By all accounts, they’re disgusted the way that he treated Cristiano and they say Sancho is a great guy who works his socks off.

“He said the players are not having him.”

Sancho remark contradicts previous claim

Sancho does face an uphill battle if he wants to salvage his United career, but the current situation for the England star remains bleak at Old Trafford.

The ex-Dortmund winger has been linked with a return to Germany in the January transfer window, as well as reportedly attracting interest from Juventus.

Brazil previously said that he was told Sancho “has been a bit naughty” and “turns up late all the time,” with the presenter adding that Ten Hag “doesn’t need this.”

Speaking on talkSPORT in September, he said: “Someone was telling me, I can’t verify it, but someone was telling me, an ex-player, that he has been a bit naughty, he turns up late all the time, he is irritating the manager, and the manager has got enough problems at the moment with what’s going on at the club, and the hierarchy have enough problems at the moment.

“He doesn’t need this, Ten Hag.”
