Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is wanted by Juventus – and he seems to be interested in a move to Italy.

As we head into another international break, the situation surrounding Jadon Sancho remains unchanged.

The chaos started just before the September break with Sancho left out of the United squad to face Arsenal.

Erik ten Hag indicated that Sancho had been poor in training and was subsequently left out, something Sancho didn’t like.

The winger took to social media with a strongly-worded response which has now been deleted.

Reports from the Daily Mail suggest that Sancho has refused to apologise to Ten Hag, and is now banished from the United squad.

Juventus now keen on signing Jadon Sancho

United may well be keen to offload Sancho in January – but recovering the huge £73million fee paid for him in 2021 will be a tough ask.

The Sun now report that Juventus are interested in signing Sancho during the January transfer window.

It’s suggested that Juventus would like to take Sancho on loan with an option to buy for around £60million in the summer of 2024.

Juve would though want United to pay around half of Sancho’s £350,000-a-week wages in order to make a deal happen.

Sancho is understood to be interested in making a move to Serie A, believing that he can rebuild his career with a switch to Turin.

Chris Smalling a potential inspiration for Sancho

Sancho only needs to look at one former United player for inspiration here.

Chris Smalling needed a fresh start away from United and picked a 2019 loan move to Roma, which ended up becoming permanent.

The 33-year-old has become one of Serie A’s top defenders, racking up more than 100 league appearances for Roma whilst becoming a fan favourite in the Eternal City.

Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham are other great examples whilst Ademola Lookman – a former England youth international – is shining with Atalanta.

Sancho may well have seen the success of those players and now fancies getting back on track himself, potentially paving the way for a Juve move.
