Ruben Amorim has now spoken out on the injury status of Benjamin Sesko and two other Manchester United players ahead of the Bournemouth match on Monday.
Benjamin Sesko has been ruled out of action since before the start of the November international break after the Manchester United striker suffered a knee injury.
Can you name this former Manchester United player?🤔
Every fan will know him…👀
The 22-year-old Slovenian forward was forced off in United’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham and Sesko missed his country’s World Cup qualifiers last month.
Signed from RB Leipzig back in August, Sesko had been tipped to miss at least a month of United first-team action in a major blow to Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim.
United manager Amorim has since been forced to mix up his forward options for matches, with out-of-favour striker Joshua Zirkzee climbing back into the fold.

Ruben Amorim drops Man Utd injury updates for Benjamin Sesko, Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt
Harry Maguire has been out of the first team for the same time as Benjamin Sesko after he suffered a hamstring injury in Manchester United’s clash with Tottenham.
Matthijs de Ligt, on the other hand, has been out of action for United’s 4-1 win against Wolves and the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw against West Ham at Old Trafford.
Speaking ahead of the Bournemouth clash, Ruben Amorim has said that both Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt will be out of action for United’s upcoming match.
⚠️ Injury and availability latest ahead of Bournemouth
Benjamin Sesko is set to be assessed ahead of the game… Would you start him if he is passed fit?
“Maguire is out, De Ligt is out,” he said on Friday afternoon, as per the Manchester Evening News.
Amorim has hinted that Sesko could make his long-awaited return to United for Monday’s match, but only if the United striker overcomes his “food poisoning.”
“Ben, we have to see if he is available,” he said.
“He had some food poisoning – we have two trainings still.”
Ruben Amorim breaks down what is wrong with Matthijs de Ligt after the Man Utd defender’s absence
Matthijs de Ligt has been absent for the Red Devils since he played the full 90 minutes in United’s 2-1 comeback win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Amorim told reporters at the Carrington training complex that the 26-year-old Netherlands defender felt an issue in his back in United’s match with Crystal Palace.
This is what Iraola said in July – what would he say about Manchester United 5 months on?👀
“I think he has something in his back,” he said.
“I don’t know for sure. He finished the game against Crystal Palace, but sometimes he feels pain, and we have to be careful with that.”
United and Bournemouth’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford is slated for an 8pm kick-off time in the UK on Monday evening.
