Mason Mount started for Manchester United in the 4-1 win over Wolves on Monday evening and the former Blues ace made an impact for the Red Devils.
Bruno Fernandes lofted a chipped ball into the Wolves box and United No 7 Mount found himself in space and fired a side-footed volley into the back of the net.
Speaking after United’s result over Wolves at the Molineux, MUTV pundit Liam Bradford waxed lyrical about Mount’s overall Premier League performance.
Liam Bradford was blown away by what the United midfielder produced against Wolves and was in awe at his “intelligence” and “pressing” under Ruben Amorim.

“Yeah, and [a] captain’s performance from Bruno Fernandes, two goals and an assist for him,” he told Manchester United’s Inside Carrington podcast.
“Mason Mount, absolutely sensational. Again, every time he seems to get the nod to start for Manchester United, his pressing, his energy, his intelligence.
“It’s absolutely fantastic. So, I’m really glad that he came away with [the] Man of the Match award and got himself another goal.”

Mount made way late in the second half on Monday evening after United manager Amorim replaced him with Red Devils striker Joshua Zirkzee in the 84th minute.
Wes Brown felt the same way as Liam Bradford about Mount and praised the former England international for how he has been playing under Amorim this season.

“Yeah, of course. Yeah,” he said.
“And Mason, you can see [what] the manager really wants, he really likes Mason first of all, he wants to play him all the time.
“And he’s just come into his own a little bit. He’s got great balance. His run, you know, he’s got that in the locker as well. Bruno finds him.”
United are now sixth in the Premier League table and Amorim’s men will now host Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Monday evening next week.
