In little over two weeks, the 2024/25 campaign will finally draw to a close, yet there is still plenty to do for Manchester United.
By the time the final whistle rings out at Old Trafford on the 25th of May, a lot could have changed.
Manchester United could arrive at this game with the Europa League in tow as European champions, which is sure to make the Villa game a little more than a formality.
Before the trophy can be taken home, though, United will face Tottenham in an all-English Europa League final, which is expected to be a nervy night at the San Mames in Spain.

That being said, United have the experience of winning as a real advantage over Spurs in the semi-final, which is potentially invaluable in a European final with Casemiro sure to be key.
Despite having a massive game to prepare for, plans for pre-season are being formed. In particular, surrounding a player who has already agreed to join United.

Ruben Amorim is considering using Enzo Kana-Biyik during pre-season
With the summer transfer window opening in a few weeks, United have already won the race for Enzo Kana-Biyik, fighting off interest from PSG to sign the young Frenchman.
Kana-Biyik has already signed his contract for United and will arrive in July, but already Amorim is planning first-team involvement over the summer.
This is according to Give Me Sport, which reports that Amorim is tempted to include Kana-Biyik in his pre-season squad in order to settle in at United and understand the environment around Old Trafford.
Kana-Biyik could also be included in the travelling squad to the United States if he is able to impress Amorim early in pre-season, with his chances described as strong.
This is despite early suggestions that Kana-Biyik was set to head on loan to FC Lausanne-Sport this summer, using the link between the two Ineos clubs.
Despite this likely loan, Kana-Biyik will know that there is a place in United’s team if he can hit the ground running and impress.
Which Manchester United youngsters need to be sent on loan for the 2025/26 season?
It is an interesting move by United to sign the teenage forward. Kana-Biyik becomes the first Le Havre signing since Paul Pogba and the club will hope he turns out half as good.
Despite Amorim planning to take a look at the new signing, Kana-Biyik should be sent on loan to Lausanne to aid his development, but which other youngsters might need to be sent on loan.
In the summer United must be proactive and send several players out on loan to avoid cluttering the academy and notable names among those are Jack Moorhouse and Sekou Kone.
Harry Amass should also be loaned out if the club don’t plan on playing him having proved he is ready for Premier League football.
Gabriele Biancheri, James Scanlon and Jaydan Kamason are others who may need a loan in order to step into senior football – although the importance of sending them to the correct team is key.
