Raphael Varane is excited to link back up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
Varane spoke to Manchester United’s website after the victory against Wolves.
He is looking forward to seeing Ronaldo having a positive impact on the team after United announced an agreement to re-sign the forward.

Varane said: “I am very happy. He’s a legend and all players can learn when you play with him.
“It’s a great help for all players, for all young players, and of course he never stops scoring goals, so he will help the team.”
Varane is right to consider the short and long term benefits Ronaldo can bring, with the club’s younger talents getting the chance to learn from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Ronaldo and Varane played alongside each other for Real Madrid and won four Champions League trophies as part of the same side.
Both players a class act
Varane made his Manchester United debut at the weekend against Wolves and impressed in the 1-0 win.
The France international was a calming influence amid a testing game at Molineux and he said he enjoyed it.

Varane said: “The Premier League is very intense. The game it’s very fast and you know when you play this game, you are very concentrated and it’s very intense. I came here for that feeling.”
The defender’s desire for a new challenge was one of the reasons he left Real Madrid. He has got one at United, with the team hoping to end a spell without a trophy.
Getting Ronaldo will help, and Varane will be kicking himself at how well it has all turned out.
