Paul Pogba came close to scoring two winning goals in a week with a late effort against Liverpool.
Unfortunately his late strike was saved by goalkeeper Alisson and Liverpool were able to hold on for a draw.

The Frenchman was among the United players to comment on social media after the game.
Pogba’s late effort was United’s last chance as the game fizzled out for a 0-0 draw.
Souness reacts to Pogba’s miss
Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness is renowned as a frequent critic of Pogba. But on this late miss, he did not rip into the United midfielder.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Souness said: “Pogba couldn’t have hit it any sweeter on the half-volley. But for fortunately for Allison it is straight at his chest.”
Former United captain Roy Keane was more critical. He told Sky’s post-game coverage: “They’re saying it’s a great save but he has to score. Pogba, you can tell by his reaction.
“His first touch excellent. Oh my goodness. Has to score. Go across the goalkeeper. Anywhere but straight at him.”
United players react to result
Luke Shaw and David de Gea both also posted on social media after the result.
Shaw expressed his disappointment at only getting a draw, which speaks volumes about the confidence United have right now and the attitude of the squad, while De Gea is looking ahead and urging the team to keep focus.
United face Fulham in midweek and while that should be another away win, Scott Parker’s side are picking up a bit of form.
They have recently claimed draws with Liverpool and Tottenham and lost to Chelsea by a single goal at the weekend. United will have to work hard again to get a result.
