Bruno Fernandes looked like he could do with some more attacking help in the first half against AC Milan.
Paul Pogba came on at half-time with the game goalless, a scoreline which would have sent United out on away goals.

In just three minutes, Pogba broke the deadlock and scored the winner.
Fernandes posted a picture from the dressing room after the game of himself and Pogba looking happy.
Fernandes and Pogba have now scored 29 goals combined this season in all competitions.
Pogba’s goals have often been vital too, with winners over Fulham and Burnley. This one against AC Milan was on a far bigger stage.
The Frenchman showed instantly how much he had been missed over the last 10 matches he sat out with injury.
This was the type of night which might convince Pogba to stay at United. He was outstanding, and his partnership with Bruno Fernandes could flourish over the final few weeks of the season.
Both players will be giving their all to try and win a trophy at the end of the season, and they may end up with two.
