Patrice Evra has promised Manchester United fans that Cristiano Ronaldo’s return will be ‘crazy’.
Ronaldo’s transfer back to United was sealed on deadline day. The forward signing a two-year deal with an option for a further year.
The attacker’s former United teammate Patrice Evra sent two messages celebrating Ronaldo’s return after the announcement.
The first message from toasted Ronaldo being ‘back where he belongs’.
A promise and thank you to fans
Evra had a direct message for Manchester United supporters too.
The former France international thanked fans for the fantastic welcome Ronaldo has received since his return was first announced.
He also promised that his former Manchester United league winning teammate’s return will be ‘crazy’.
Ronaldo returns to United as an all-conquering hero, having won every major club prize at Old Trafford in his first spell – and then adding far more in his years at Real Madrid and Juventus.
Even at the age of 36 there are no limits to what Ronaldo to achieve.
This is a transfer which has been truly emotional for United supporters and the sight of him back on the Old Trafford pitch is going to be a joy to behold.
