Manchester United have a huge game against Everton this weekend.
The pressure is on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after two straight defeats.
United have just seven points from six Premier League games and a defeat at Everton will pile on the pressure.
Former boss David Moyes lost his job after a defeat to Everton proved to be the final straw back in 2014.
Calls on social media for Solskjaer to lose his job are louder than ever and they will intensify if United suffer defeat against Everton.
By the same token, a win over Everton does not really do much alone to save Solskjaer’s job. It just buys him time.

Find consistency
Solskjaer’s problem this season and for the first five months of last season was a lack of consistency.
Losing to Istanbul Basaksehir was predictable after big wins over PSG and RB Leipzig. It’s also depressing, this United side are capable of more.
Something is lacking. Whether it is concentration, application, or something tactically. And it falls back on the manager.
United have won just two of six games in the Premier League this season, drawn one and lost three. It simply is not good enough.
A win over Everton will give United something to smile about, but it won’t save Solskjaer’s job.
After the international break, United have a welcome run of fixtures – on paper. Although these games under Solskjaer have typically been difficult.
West Brom (H), Istanbul Basaksehir (H), Southampton (A), and PSG (H).
United need wins from the first two. Without question. Southampton away is tough, but winnable. Especially for a side capable of going away to PSG and winning.
And then there is the PSG game. It is pointless beating PSG away if United cannot finish the job at home.
After this latest Champions League defeat, the home game against PSG could be decisive.
It is these four games which will make or break Solskjaer – IF he gets past the Everton fixture with his job intact.
Anything less than four points against West Brom and Southampton is not good enough. Really it needs to be six.
And then four points will be needed against Istanbul and PSG. United can’t let the strong start in the Champions League group slip.

Winning against Everton is futile if United go on and drop points in the following games.
The fixtures do not get any easier in December either.
United can’t go on like this. Solskjaer’s side need to go on a good run of form, and quickly.
The inconsistency has to end. If Solskjaer can’t fix it then United need to find another manager who can.
It is impossible that there is not another manager out there who can get more out of this talented squad of players.
